Coffee Suppliers to wholesale and retail

Our journey as wholesale coffee suppliers
s
Coffee Exchange is a wholesale coffee supplier started in 2014 in Johannesburg by childhood friends Laurence Bekink and Scott Nightingale. Because they were both passionate coffee drinkers and searching for a life outside of the corporate world, they were drawn together in starting Coffee Exchange.

Also the guys originally intended to start a consulting business and because of this, they were regular “cofficers” moving around from coffee shop to coffee shop in search of the perfect brew. It was in this quest that they realised there was a lack of true artisanal coffee brands in the market and therefore decided to venture into the space themselves. Purchasing their roaster and moving into premises in Kyalami, the journey of Coffee Exchange had begun.

Retail Coffee

Our retail coffee shops are part of the the neighborhood. Friendly staff and a welcoming, relaxed environment makes Coffee Exchange the perfect location for your next cup.

Roasting coffee for our wholesale customers is an integral part of our business. We source high quality green beans and blend a variety of in-house or customised blends. Click the image above to shop our coffee beans.

Our retail stores also serve a traditional breakfast and lunch menu with a focus on good quality affordable options for sit-down or takeaway. Or click on the icon to order on Uber Eats.

Our freshly minted business in a box concept is on view in Kyalami.

Our Ethos

s
At Coffee Exchange you will find the approach to coffee is very much a manual, and traditional one which seeks to retain the personal touch in the day and age where technology has increasingly begun to displace the human element in coffee. At Coffee Exchange everything is done by sight, sound and eye. We have minimised allowing technology to dictate coffee making and use the methods that have been employed by roasters and baristas since the inception of the espresso machine in 1884 and the production of commercial coffee roasting equipment.
